Last minute cake order
Just missed the 11:00 ordering cutoff? Don’t panic. At The Pastry a last minute cake is often still possible. Our regular deadline for next-day delivery is 11:00, but if you are just a little too late, send us a message on WhatsApp. We can regularly still schedule an order after 11:00 – until 17:00 at the latest.
How a last minute order works
- Ordering before 11:00? Simply place your order through the shop for next-day delivery.
- Missed the deadline? Send us a WhatsApp message between 11:00 and 17:00. We will check right away whether it can still be done.
- After 17:00 we can no longer guarantee next-day delivery.
Why via WhatsApp?
A last minute order takes a bit of juggling: we check the availability of your favourite cake and whether our delivery capacity allows it. The quickest way to sort that out is directly with you over WhatsApp, so you know where you stand within minutes. That way even a forgotten birthday still gets a luxury cake on the table.

Is the lucky person in Lelystad? Then there is one more option: same-day delivery in Lelystad. Order before 11:00 and we deliver the same evening, between 19:00 and 21:00 – also arranged via WhatsApp.
What to expect
Our cakes are handmade and delivered chilled, even for a rush order. We do our best to deliver the same quality last minute as always. Do bear in mind that on a short deadline not every cake or time window may still be available; via WhatsApp we will honestly tell you what is possible.
