Is it possible not to use pork gelatin in the preparation? Yes, it is possible to replace pork gelatin with beef leaf gelatin (halal) for some cakes. At the moment we can replace this for heart, mondrian, honeycomb and rose cake. You can indicate your preference during the ordering process on the website.
How far in advance can you place your order? You can even place your order 1 day in advance, provided you order before 5 p.m. Nevertheless, it can happen that cakes are sold out during busy periods, or that deliveries are no longer possible on certain days if the transport capacity is full. That is why we always advise you to place your order in advance as much as possible. This way you are assured of the right cake on the date you want. If you would like to change the delivery date after this, this is often no problem in consultation.
Is it possible to order a cake in a different colour? For example, a heart chocolate cake in black? Yes, this is possible in some cases and depending on the type of cake. However, you must indicate this at least 5 working days before the expected delivery date. You can only assume an adjustment if it has been confirmed by us.
Is it possible to adjust the design of a cake? Most cakes have a specific design that is tailored to their taste (for example, the honeycomb cake and the rose cake), which is why the current designs cannot be adjusted. New designs will be added in the future, which are currently in the development phase.
Why are the cakes of a higher price range? The fragile production process of our luxury cakes takes a considerable amount of time and man-hours. Nevertheless, we will always strive to keep our prices affordable.
What to do if a cake arrives damaged? We do everything we can to deliver our cakes to your doorstep in perfect condition. For this we use a transport company that delivers throughout the Netherlands. Our experience shows that almost all of our cakes arrive undamaged. In exceptional cases, however, it can happen that a cake is damaged during delivery. In that case, we request that you contact us by email or telephone to provide the details/photos. We will do our best to find a suitable solution.
Do I really get the cake as it looks in the photo?The photos on our website are of real cakes. Besides the fact that they are professional photos, no extra effects have been added.
Are the cakes as delicious as they look?We think our cakes are even more delicious than they look. Unfortunately, we cannot capture the flavors in a photo! However, we try to describe the exceptional flavors as best as possible on our website.

What is the best way to store the cake?After delivery, it is advisable to place the cake in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours to allow the temperature to stabilize before serving. This is due to the refrigerated transport. You can store the cakes refrigerated for up to 2 days after delivery. With the exception of the chocolate cakes, these can be kept refrigerated for up to 3 days after delivery.
Do you make gluten-free cakes?From our range, the cherry pie falls under gluten-free in terms of ingredients. However, we are not a gluten-free bakery and there can always be residual traces of gluten in the bakery, which could still cause people with a severe gluten allergy to develop complaints.
